Let's Make A Change Together
Considering Partnering with HTLG
Here are some ways you can donate your time or resources with us:
HTLG Wants to Partner with You!
Our volunteers are community members, professionals, leaders and other devoted individuals committed to fulfilling the HTLG mission alongside our dedicated team and supporters. We partner with companies, non-profits, and faith institutions of all sizes and industries throughout
the Chicago Area. Through customizable opportunities for community service and team-building, our volunteers take a break from their day-to-day responsibilities to make a difference in the lives of the women, youth, and girls that HTLG serves.
Who Can Volunteer at HTLG?
Anyone, at almost any age, can be a volunteer with us. We encourage youth as well as adults to help in whatever ways they can.
What Can I Do To Help? There are lots of things you can do to help us here at HTLG! We always take into consideration the kinds of activities in which you have special interests or abilities, but we also ask our volunteers to be open and flexible about the kinds of assignments they will accept. All activities support the mission and vision of the organization and the communities in which we serve.
When Can I Start? That all depends on whether there is an immediate need for your
assistance or if we need to place your name on our “Call” list and let you know whether a volunteer opportunity has become available. There are many times during the year when help from volunteers is needed, so you probably won’t have to wait very long, if at all. We also love great ideas so if you have a project or program that you think may be good for HTLG please share it with us. We would be happy to meet with you and your team to discuss whether it is a good fit for organization mission and vision.
